The Tordrillo Range is a stunning mountain range renowned for its rugged beauty, dramatic landscapes, and incredible outdoor opportunities. It forms part of the larger Alaska Range and is positioned to the west of the Talkeetna Mountains and north of Lake Iliamna.
Aircrafts used is a combination of the AS350 helicopter, also known as the ”AStar" and The Twin Otter, a legendary, rugged, and versatile aircraft that has become synonymous with reaching the most remote and hard-to-reach places on Earth. With its short takeoff and landing capabilities, combined with the ability to operate in harsh weather conditions and on unprepared runways, it’s the perfect choice for adventure travel and specialized missions.

Semi-private package – Heliski Alaska
We offer 7 days Semi Private trips. Semi-private means that the helicopter & lodge is shared with other groups. We operate with 1-2 AS 350 helicopters and a fixed wing aircraft, the twin otter. Optimal group sizes in Alaska is 3, 7 or 11 people.
These trips are perfect if you are traveling alone or with a group of friends, as we will fill up the helicopter to complete the groups and maximize the experience.
The Heli-skiing opportunity gives your trip a huge potential to be able to reach those enormous and hard-to-read areas by air and our guides will guarantee that you will be offered the best off- piste skiing available for each excursion.

FAQ
All heliskipackages are based on helicopter time stated in the reservation, NOT vertical metres. The vertical metres is only used as a guideline to show how much we are able to ski if the conditions are good.
You should be a good skier or boarder with experinence from offpiste or backcontry skiing.
In average a good skier or boarder skis about 7-8 000 vertical metres per day.
All skiing or boarding is performed above treeline in high alpine terrain.
On location we offer a variation of downday activities, cross country skiing, fat-bikes, outdoor paddle, shooting range.
All helicopter time that is not used due to bad weather is refunded accordingly to our terms & conditions.
We operate with 4:1 guide ratio, maximum 3 groups per helicopter.
Yes, it does not effect our choice of terrain or effect your experience with us.
At Tordrillo Lodge there is a doctor on location.
The Tordrillo Lodge has wifi in the Lounge and in all rooms.
On location we accept most credit cards. Entry fee and final payment are made against invoice via bank transfer.

We 7 days Private trips. When booking a Private trip the helicopters and the floatplane is booked only for you and your group. No other people or groups are integrated into sharing your helicopter. Our Private trips are suitable for small groups with up to a maximum of 11 people.
Our Private packages gives us maximum flexibility during the days out in the mountains, where we can focus on giving you only the very best skiing experience, that is most suited for your level of skiing. You will have your own guide and your own helicopter threw out your stay and we can adjust your daily itinerary to suit your personal preferences & requests.
With our full attention on you and your friends, we’ll have greater freedom to reach those more remote places and areas where we normally don't go. More helicopter time, more skiing, ski what you want - when you want!
